Manual Human Relay

Use any web-based AI interface (like ChatGPT or Claude.ai) with Sypha without requiring an API key.

Manual Human Relay

The Manual Human Relay provider enables you to leverage Sypha features alongside web-based AI portals (like ChatGPT or Claude.ai) without any API key or subscription. This method relies on manual message transfer between Sypha and the AI's web interface.

Operational Workflow

  1. Provider Designation: Select "Human Relay" in the Sypha settings registry. No credentials are required.
  2. Execute Task: Start a coding task or chat session within Sypha.
  3. Protocol Dialogue: Sypha will present a specialized dialog box. The prepared prompt is automatically copied to your clipboard.
  4. Transfer to Web AI: Navigate to your preferred AI portal (e.g., chat.openai.com, claude.ai) and paste the prompt into the input field.
  5. Capture Intelligence: Once the AI generates its logic, copy the entire response text.
  6. Synchronize with Sypha: Return to the Sypha dialog, paste the response into the designated field, and select "Confirm."
  7. Execution: Sypha processes the manual input as if it were a direct API response.

Ideal Strategic Scenarios

  • API-Restricted Environments: Utilising proprietary models that do not currently offer public API access.
  • Credential-Free Work: Developing without the need to manage individual API keys or pay-as-you-go balances.
  • Web-Only Context: Utilising specialized search or context tools only available through a provider's web UI.

Operational Limitations

  • High Friction: Requires continuous manual context switching between your IDE and the browser.
  • Reduced Velocity: The manual relay is significantly slower than direct API construction.
  • Integrity Risk: Manual copy-pasting may occasionally introduce formatting errors or truncate code blocks.

Choose the Human Relay when specific model capabilities in a web portal outweigh the friction of manual synchronization.
