Developer Preview (Experimental Features)

Access and test the latest Sypha functionalities currently in the development pipeline.

Developer Preview

Sypha provides an "Experimental" category for capabilities still undergoing rigorous testing. These prototypes provide early access to upcoming updates but may exhibit instability or undergo significant architectural changes.

[!WARNING] Prototypes may cause unexpected behavior, including performance fluctuations or interruptions in workflow. Enable these tools only if you are comfortable with an iterative, development-stage environment.

Activating Prototypes

  1. Enter the Settings menu (gear icon).
  2. Choose the Advanced Settings category.
  3. Access the Experimental Features list to activate the specific capabilities you wish to evaluate.
  4. Save your changes to apply the new configurations.

Active Experiments

  • Structured Tool Integration (Native Function Calling): Implements high-fidelity JSON schema communication, replacing legacy XML-based tool signals with more reliable mechanisms.
  • Voice Transcription: Injects speech-to-text capabilities into your workflow using OpenAI's high-fidelity Whisper engine.
  • Multi-File Batch Edits: Permits the AI to process modifications across several files simultaneously. (Performance-optimized for advanced reasoning models).
  • Task Alignment (Power Steering): Implements frequent instruction refreshes for the AI model to ensure closer adherence to complex architectural tasks.
