Sypha provides compatibility for accessing models via the Mistral AI API, encompassing both conventional Mistral models and the programming-specialized Codestral model.

Obtaining Your API Key

1. Account Access: Navigate to the Mistral Platform. Register for an account or log into your existing one. A verification procedure may be required.
2. Generate an API Key:
   • La Plateforme API Key and/or
   • Codestral API Key

Setting Up Sypha

1. Access Settings: Select the settings icon (⚙️) within the Sypha panel.
2. Choose Provider: Pick "Mistral" from the available options in the "API Provider" menu.
3. Add API Key: Insert your Mistral API key into the designated "Mistral API Key" input field when utilizing a standard mistral model. For codestral-latest usage, refer to the "Configuring Codestral" section below.
4. Choose Model: Pick your preferred model from the available options in the "Model" menu.

Configuring Codestral

Codestral is a model exclusively engineered for code generation and programming interaction. With Codestral, you have the option to utilize different endpoints (Default: codestral.mistral.ai). When employing the La Plateforme API Key for Codestral, modify the Codestral Base Url to: https://api.mistral.ai

To utilize Codestral with Sypha:

1. Choose "Mistral" as the API Provider within Sypha Settings.
2. Pick a Codestral Model (such as codestral-latest) from the available options in the "Model" menu.
3. Input your Codestral API Key (from codestral.mistral.ai) or your La Plateforme API Key (from api.mistral.ai) into the corresponding API key field within Sypha.
